Happy New Year
Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!! Kind of sad that I brought in the New Year playing on the computer but oh well it was kind of nice just to be home doing nothing. Jamison is sick and in bed and me and Ryann are just hanging out. I made the mistake of telling her she could stay up late and watch cartoons thinking she would fall asleep before midnight. Austyn is asleep in her bed, and hopefully she stays there all night. She has gotten into the habit of waking up at 4 or 5 and will only go back to sleep if it is in bed with me. I hope everyone has a wonderful 2009.
Christmas Day.
We had a wonderful Christmas. Ryann was so much fun this year and loved opening her presents and was so excited for each and every little thing. Austyn was fun too and showed more interest in opening presents than I thought she would. We woke the girls up at 7:30 opened presents, went to Jame's parents for breakfast and presents, went to see Grandma Star, went to my parents for presents and dinner. It was a busy day and we ended up staying the night at my moms so we didn't have to drive home in the snow. Unfortunately my picture taking was not the best on Christmas. Oh well I got lots of video of the day.
Christmas Eve
Better late than never. We spent Christmas Eve hanging around the house and in the afternoon we took the kids to Jumping Jacks to play. That evening Jamison's parents, grandma and his sister and her family came over for dinner. We had fun playing the Wii and Grandma Star kicked everyone's butts in bowling. Of course I left the wrapping until the last minute and we were up until 2:30.

Bennett Christmas Party
Party #3 was held at the Riverton Community Center with the Bennett family. We ate dinner, let the kids break a pinata, played games and had a visit from Santa. The pinata and the visit from Santa take quite awhile since there are so many little kids. Ryann had a blast playing with all of her cousins.
Drage Christmas Party.
Party #2 was at Grandma Stars house. We ate dinner, opened a present and attempted to take a picture of all the girls in the Christmas dresses Grandma Star made.
Christensen Christmas Party
This was the first of three Christmas parties in four days!! This year we had the party at Steve and Shelly's house and everyone had a great time. We ate dinner, visisted, got our ornaments off of Grandma Billie's money tree and ended the night with a visit from Santa.

Pictures x 2 (again)
It seems like every time we get pictures taken lately once is not enough and we have to go two times in the same week. On Tuesday night we took the girls to get Ryann's birthday pictures and some Christmas ones of them together. What an experience!! Ryann did not want to cooperate and Austyn wouldn't crack a smile for anything. But we got some okay pictures and were able to use one for our Christmas card.
Then, because we like to torture ourselves, today we went with my nieces and nephew to get a group picture in the dresses Grandma Star made. What an adventure that was!! Two four year olds, a three year old, two one and a half year olds and a seven month old. But surprisingly we got a picture that everyone was happy with.
Hopefully now we can be done for awhile. At least until January when Austyn goes for her nine month pictures. :)

Under the Tree
Birthday Party.
We had Ryann's birthday party yesterday and she had so much fun. All of her friends and cousins came over for cake and ice cream and we broke a pinata full of candy. What more could you ask for? The party started out kind of rough because the party girl had just woke up and was feeling a little grumpy but she cheered right up when it was time for the pinata and presents. I still cant believe she is 3 years old!!

Ryann's Birthday Present.
What do you get the girl who has everything and doesnt need anything...
We had planned to take Ryann to Pet Smart today to pick out some fun things for her puppy but since she doesnt feel good we will have to do it another day.
3 Years Old!!
Our baby girl is three years old today!! I cant believe how fast she is growing up. She is such a sweet, fun, sassy, smart, and funny girl. We have so much fun with her every day and she is always putting a smile on our faces or making us laugh. Its hard to believe that only three years ago she was a tiny baby. Where has the time gone? We had a fun day planned but Ryann woke up sick this morning so we are just hanging out at home enjoying our day and Ryann's birthday present!! Her birthday party is going to be on Saturday and she cant wait.

Santa Clause
Last night we took the girls to the mall to see Santa Clause. Neither one of them cared too much for him. Ryann thought she would throw up since the last time she saw him she puked right after and Austyn was fine until she got a good look at who was holding her. I wish I could have got one of Ryann by herself, oh well.
Christmas Decorations
Thanksgiving Weekend
We had a great Thanksgiving weekend. We went to my Aunt and Uncle's house for dinner on Thursday, spent Friday shopping and went to the sand dunes on Saturday. It was a busy fun filled weekend. I'm still recovering from all the shopping and lack of sleep!!

Ryann's 1st Haircut!!
This morning I took Ryann for her first haircut. I've been wanting to do it for awhile and lately her hair has been so hard to brush through. I wasn't planning on going so short but I think it turned out pretty cute. She had fun and thought it was pretty neat to go to the salon and get "pretty". The before pictures already make me sad. But it's just hair and will grow back.
