Home Town Fun...

One of the best parts about living in a small town is the annual town celebration. Over the years I've really come to enjoy the traditions of Genola's celebration. It starts out with a Town Dinner on Friday night, where the town provides the main course and everyone brings something to share. This year about the time the dinner was about to begin it started pouring so we stayed home. There is also a softball tournament which Jamison usually plays in; this year his team did pretty good and made it the championship game where they got their butts kicked. He has fun though and every year I say I wish I would have played so maybe next year I will. On Saturday there is a parade, games for the kids, the rodeo and fireworks. Jamison was on the rodeo committee again this year and likes to help with the planning of the rodeo. Here our some pictures from our busy weekend... A rainy weekend at the cabin.

Last weekend we went to cabin to celebrate Fathers Day with my mom, dad and Jordan.

The weather was perfect on Friday and we were able to take the girls fishing. Ryann was terrified of the fish she caught and Austyn wanted to squeeze its guts out.

Saturday it rained most of the day so we drove around, watched movies, played the Wii and took naps. After the rain finally stopped it was way too cold to go outside. Sunday was a little cool but nice. We went fishing one last time and then packed up to come home.

Where did June go?

I cant believe June is almost over!! It feels like we have hardly had any summer, I guess that's what happens when you have almost 3 weeks of rain. This summer is really going to go by fast for us; July will be busy with the two holidays and a week long trip to the cabin and August is going to be crazy with our anniversary, two weddings and a trip to New York.
