Brody's B-day Party

We were invited to my cousin Amie's little boy's 5th birthday party. They had it had a hotel in West Valley that has a little water park right inside of the hotel. The girls had fun swimming and we had to drag them out of there. Ryann has become such a good little swimmer and has overcome her fear after her scary experience last summer in New York. I am so proud of how good she is doing and cant wait for summer. She is just like her dad and loves the water.

Fun in the Sun.

The first week of March Jame had to go to St. George for work so me and the girls went along for the ride. It was nice to get some sunshine and be able to play outside. I didnt get too many pictures but here are a few from our week.

I cannot keep this little girl out of my makeup.

2010

We had fun celebrating the New Year with friends and neighbors. After a long emotional day attending my Grandma's funeral it was nice to be able to relax and have a good time. I wish I could say it was the first time my girls have seen midnight but that has happened a few times.

Billie Ann Christensen

On December 27th Heaven became a better place when it welcomed my Grandma home. The loss of this dear sweet lady was unexpected and sudden but we know that she is no longer in pain and is with those she loves, especially Uncle Scotty.

My Grandma was a great example and I know I am a better person because of the lessons I learned from her. She taught me so many things about faith, compassion, caring for others, unselfishness and loyalty.

Its still hard to believe she is gone and I keep waiting for her to show up at my door or call me on the phone. I know one day I will get to feel my Grandma's arms around me again and I am especially grateful that my Grandma was able to go through the temple with us last August. I'm also grateful that Ryann is old enough she will remember her Grandma Billie and sad that Ausytn wont.
My Grandma was a wonderful lady and I'm so grateful for the memories I will always cherish.

Christmas Day

We had a really fun Christmas this year; both girls were at such fun ages and were both so excited. We were excited not to have to be anywhere until 11 a.m. this year, so the girls were able to have lots of play time with their new toys. After we were done opening our gifts we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Thornton's to open more gifts and play with cousins. Then we headed home to relax for a few hours before my whole family showed up. It was nice to have Christmas dinner at our house this year and not having to be traveling on Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a little different for us this year; we had no parties to get to. Grandma Billie was in the hospital so the Christensen party was cancelled and we really had no big plans for the day. We spent the morning at home with the kids, then went to visit Grandma at the hospital and then to dinner at mom's house. My mom decided to let the grandkids open their presents from her on Christmas Eve so she could try out the new video camera we just gave her. After that we headed home and the girls opened their Christmas jammies and got ready for bed.
