We just got back on Sunday from a ten day camping/cabin trip. It was so nice to get out of the heat and into the mountains for the week. I wish we were still there especially sice Austyn slept so much better in the mountains. It must have been the altitude or something but she would sleep for twelve hours at night and take 3 or 4 naps during the day.
We spent the first weekend camping with our neighbors and their cute daughter Cassidy. Ryann had a blast playing with her and was so sad when she went home that she made up an imaginary friend. "Angie" was with us clear until the next weekend.
The flowers were beautiful.
My mom and neice Macyn came up on Tuesday evening and spent the night with us.
While they were there Ryann went into her Wizard of Oz mode and started calling my mom Aunty Emm and Belle Toto. She still calls Belle Toto. My mom took her for a walk and they "followed the yellow brick road". She has quite the imagination.
On Wednesday we went home and went to the Spanish Fork rodeo Wendesday night.
Then on the 24th we went to the parade out to lunch with Jamison's family and then headed back up to the cabin.
Jamison's family also spent most of the weekend at the cabin and the kids had fun playing together. Grandpa Bill and Uncle Steve put up a horse swing and the kids named it Pony Tail and had a blast swinging.
It was a great week and hopefully we can do it again over Labor Day.
