Middle Child...

Austyn has adjusted pretty well (so far) to being the middle child. She loves her baby brother so much and gets pretty possessive of him. She'll tell anyone holding him that he's not theirs and he his her baby brother.

She has gotten herself into some trouble the past few days, but no more than usual. The other night while I was feeding the baby it got really quiet and I just knew Austyn was up to something. I found her in my dark bathroom painting her fingernails purple. I thought the mess was contained to the bathroom until the next morning when I picked up a blanket off my floor... under the blanket was a towel and under the towel was a huge spot of purple fingernail polish!! She tried to clean it up and when she couldn't hid it with a blanket.
