Good Bye Dewey

In the fall of 2008 we purchased Ryann her first pony, Dewey.  We loved having Dewey around over the past few years but felt like he wasn't the best fit for our family and wasn't reliable enough for the girls to ride around by themselves.  In January we started looking for a new horse or pony but didn't quite know what we would do with Dewey and wanted to make sure he went to a good home.  In February I saw an ad on KSL of a lady looking for a Shetland pony and a cart.  She just happened to live in Draper, which is where we purchased Dewey from.  I had a feeling it might be the same woman we bought him from so I sent her an email and sure enough it was the same one.  So Dewey was purchased back by his original owner!! I thought Ryann would have a harder time with it but she was really good about the whole thing.  I think I was the most upset to see him go.  We are still searching for the perfect pony and hope to find one soon.
